THERAPY SERVICES

Accepting new clients in California.

  • Individual Therapy

You don’t have to go through this alone.

Therapy is a powerful space to tend to your whole self and tap into not just your feelings, but also your needs, history, identity, fears, and strengths. I invite you to bring your whole, complicated self to the space and leave any masks at the door. In weekly counseling together, I strive to create a space of curiosity, collaboration, and safety that is tailored to the unique needs of each person.

  • Teens & Young Adults (ages 13-25)

The teen and young adult years can be overwhelming, complex, & full of questions around identity, relationships, & how to feel safe in your own skin. I am here supporting and rooting for you through it all. In therapy, we will create a soft space for you to land each week in the midst of a turbulent world and time in life. I am firmly dedicated to providing young people with space to express themselves openly and safely.

  • Walk-and-Talk Therapy

Let’s take things outside. For those located near Oakland, you have the option of choosing to do therapy outdoors with me at Lake Merritt where we will walk, talk, and enjoy all the benefits of being in nature and in-person.

Fees

  • Free

  • $175

  • My sliding scale spots are currently at capacity. Please fill out my contact form if you would like to be placed on a waitlist for a sliding scale spot.

Full-fee clients support access to care for individuals with limited economic resources.

  • I do not accept insurance at this time. However, I am happy to provide a superbill (receipt) upon request for potential reimbursement from your insurance.

  • If you need to cancel or reschedule your session, I ask that you let me know at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations within the 24-hour window and no-shows incur a charge at your usual session rate, except in cases of emergency or illness. I do my best to reschedule sessions within the next few business days to avoid fees, but this depends on my schedule/availability and is not always guaranteed.

  • Good Faith Estimate Notice
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.

You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call (800) 985-3059.
