Changes in sleep, mood, behavior, school performance, and social connections are all signs someone would benefit from extra support. Even without anything specific happening, therapy can help teens navigate challenges and grow.

For teens under age 18, the first session can have both the teen and their caregiver present. Then the rest of the sessions are one-on-one. We will talk about what feels best together.

We’ll talk about what is bringing your teen to therapy and their goals. It’s an opportunity for them to see if they feel comfortable with me.

Therapy is confidential except in specific safety situations. With their consent, I may share general themes or progress but not details.

Respecting their privacy, being open to feedback from them about how you can support at home, and modeling self-care are all great steps.

If there is immediate danger, call 911 or the 988 Crisis Line or go to your nearest emergency room. I do not provide crisis services but can create a safety plan with your teen for ongoing support.

I do not. However, I can provide a super bill you can use to seek reimbursement from your insurance provider. There are also a small number of slots open for sliding scale fees.
